After 20 years, we are closing our gallery in the French Quarter

We first opened a gallery on Decatur St. 20 years ago. We left after Katrina in 2005, then reopened in 2007 on Chartres St. Now it is time to close that chapter. We will still be online, both on the website and on eBay. In fact, we will be posting many special items in the coming months on eBay at great prices. I will not only be selling my art, but items I have collected over the years.

If anyone is interested in purchasing wholesale, or opening a Jamie Hayes Gallery, let me know, I will make you a great deal. I plan on travelling in the next couple of months, you can keep track of me on facebook. If you want to contact me the best way is to message me through facebook. Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years, it is much appreciated.

I am happy for you! Can’t wait to see all your new art! Still sad though, it will be a great loss to da Quarter….

I am heart broken to hear about Jamie, and now this. Bless him and his family. You will be missed.

Jamie’s Art Gallery (and Amy D.) changed my life in a most significant and profound way. May Jamie continue to paint with glorious colors… on God’s sky, with rainbows, sunrises, and sunsets. Thanks for brightening our world!!🌻🌈LM and TM

Just ordered four pieces of art, I am so overwhelmingly sad to hear Jamie passed away. His gallery was always the highlight of my trip to New Orleans. Almost every room in my house has a Jamie Hayes piece of artwork. I have given them as gifts also. Just sadder than I have words to say.

I had no idea of his passing and am so sorry for the city of New Orleans loss. He is truly my favorite author , painter, artist, and amazing man. May he rest in Heaven 😪
