Description
This very cool 18″ sterling silver necklace has 5 sterling silver blimps designed by New Orleans artist Jamie Hayes. The design is based on blimps featured in Jamie’s book, Up In The Air with the Flying Mingling Brothers. Four blimps have a star design, each star is set 2 rubies, 2 sapphires and one diamond. The pendant is approximately 1″ from nose to tip of tail and 1″ from top to bottom and is nice and heavy. The center blimp is a little larger and is adorned with music notes. Also included are 3 Vintage German Zeppelin postcards, one postmarked from 1913 and one from 1916. All from Jamie’s private collection. As many of you may know Jamie was fascinated with all things dirigible and amassed quite a collection. You will also receive a signed and matted Jamie Hayes Blimhead print.
